Derry Church Artisan Chocolates, LLC takes every precaution to ensure that our chocolates will arrive to you, or your lucky recipients, in exactly the same condition they are in, when they leave our facility. We make every attempt to ship your order the same day we receive it, when at all possible, however, please understand that our chocolates are 100% natural products, with absolutely NO PRESERVATIVES, OR ARTIFICIAL INGREDIENTS added, so to ensure freshness we generally keep our inventory low. Therefore, your order may take up to 48-72 hours to process if it is a larger order.

We ship our chocolates MONDAYS THRU THURSDAYS ONLY, to prevent possible heat damage to products in transit over the weekend.

Our chocolates are shipped from our production facility in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. We ship all our products in insulated bags & boxes with frozen ice packs, so during most of the year, and under normal weather conditions, it should be perfectly fine to choose the USPS PRIORITY MAIL option upon your checkout, particularly if you are having your chocolates shipped to the Northeast, or Mid-Atlantic Regions. The USPS website states, that in MOST circumstances, PRIORITY MAIL will arrive to you within 2 days, but MIGHT take up to 3.

If you are having your chocolates shipped to a warm climate, such as FL, TX, AZ, Southern CA, etc, or during the warmer months of the year (generally APRIL - OCTOBER) you SERIOUSLY should consider choosing the EXPRESS MAIL option upon checkout. Although we are certainly sympathetic toward everyone's need to reduce costs wherever possible these days, we CANNOT be held responsible for chocolates destroyed during transit, so PLEASE choose the shipping option that makes the most sense for your particular shipping destination point.

Also, PLEASE double check the information you provide to us during checkout. We cannot be held responsible for incorrect names or addresses, and if your chocolates are returned to us, UN-deliverable, we will need to recharge you for shipping, a second time, should you decide you still want them. And finally, PLEASE ensure that there will be someone to receive your chocolates at the address and time of delivery. The USPS WILL LEAVE YOUR CHOCOLATES AT THE DOOR, if nobody is home to receive them, but we WILL NOT be held responsible if the chocolates are destroyed or stolen before the recipient gets them.
